about us
A family business.
Introduced to the secrets of silk by the master weavers of the Croix Rousse, with whom Ludovic De la Calle worked for twenty-five years, he wished to return in the early 2000s to the historic weavers' district.
He therefore set up his workshop in Saint-Georges, a silk district from the 16th century to the Renaissance.
He has practiced his profession with passion for over 45 years, as much enjoying making classic style fabrics as contemporary styles.
In this spirit of authenticity and transmission, his two sons, Romain and Virgile, joined the company a few years ago to learn this know-how and make the history of weaving in Lyon known to as many people as possible.
